Sidwell and Surdex Partner on Mapping Project
Coles County (Ill.) has awarded a joint development project to The Sidwell Company and Surdex Corp. (St. Louis, Mo.) for the completion of a countywide digital mapping and orthophotography project. Sidwell will construct the digital database of more than 25,000 parcels taken from original source documents, building a fully feature-laden, topologically clean land base. The resulting data will be suitable for linking to the county's DAMA and tax cycle systems.
