Intergraph Launches GeoMedia PublicWorks
Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions has created GeoMedia® PublicWorks, an industry product targeted toward local government and municipal public works departments that require IT-centric GIS solutions for building, analyzing, and maintaining an infrastructure network. The first release of GeoMedia PublicWorks is designed for public works professionals who are responsible for the modeling, management, and the analysis of water and wastewater systems.
      GeoMedia PublicWorks is an add-on to GeoMedia Professional, extending its data capture, placement, and editing tools for populating such industry-standard databases as Oracle8i™. GeoMedia PublicWorks also includes the ability to build, maintain, and validate connected networks by using advanced-feature modeling and rules-based digitizing. Tracing is also provided for analyzing networks to determine areas affected by network problems.
