Create 3D Terrains and Fly-throughs of Satellite Images, Aerial Photographs, and Topo Maps with LandForm C3

LandForm C3 allows users to fly through terrain data in real-time. It runs on Windows based desktop and laptop PCs, and reads many file types including DEM, DTED, TIFF, GeoTIFF, and others. LandForm has a unique capability to load DTED files automatically, based upon viewpoint and create a seamless land surface, at user-defined resolution. Aerial photographs, satellite images, and digital maps can be overlayed on the 3-D terrain. The viewpoint can be dynamically controlled by driving with the mouse, or the viewpoint can follow a flight track or ground track. At $995, this is the first product in its price range which allows users to combine topographic data with maps, satellite, aerial imagery, GPS and flight track data. Further, the program allows users to fuse these data into 3-D VRML models, which can be posted on Internet or intranet Web sites and viewed by Web browsers. The program was designed to be easy to use.
