The OrbView Cities archive currently includes one-meter resolution panchromatic imagery of the following cities in North America; Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Long Island, Newark, New York, Oakland, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver. The images have been fully processed (i.e. orthorectified) into image layers that are compatible with 1:24,000 scale mapping applications. All Orbview Cities products were acquired no earlier than May of 1996 and are provided in the GeoTIFF data format which is compatible with off-the-shelf GIS and remote sensing software packages. The imagery is available in a standard tile size which is approximately 15 square miles. The geographic extent, naming convention and placement of OrbView Cities products is consistent with e USGS quarter quad system.
