EOM Becomes an Online Magazine

In an effort to become more well-read internationally as well as in its home market of North America, and to more rapidly meet the needs of today's fast paced workplace, Earth Observation Magazine (EOM) will become an online magazine effective February 15, 2005. For advertisers this also means EOM readers will now have direct access to live links through their display ads. Advertisers will also be able to track the number of click-throughs from their ads.

. . .

In February, EOM will alert 26,000 readers worldwide, via email, that the new issue is available online. Both editorial and display advertising will be integrated into the downloadable format. As a result, the significant cost savings in printing and mailing will be passed along to advertisers. The geospatial community has evolved to the point where the electronic distribution of information better serves those seeking the most timely information,. explained Neil Sandler, publisher.
